Hiking tours through abandoned villages

Tramuntana

We depart from hotel Kimen towards Beli. From Beli we take the part of the Green path. We enter the abandoned village Frantin where school used to be. We proceed to to the village Crkveni. Then we enter into the closed part of the hunting grounds and head for Dol (large field surrounded by high cliffs, was inhabited since Roman time s, after WWII turned into a restaurant that was accessible only by sea). From Dol we head towards the abandoned hamlet Trebijanščica (where cattle-breeding was the way of life). We continue on to the hamlet of Jelen. We continue to the village Konac (the village at the end of the island - hence the name). Beautiful view. From Konac we proceed to Ivanje. We continue down the Purple trail to the former fort (ruins of ancient houses). We arrive at the abandoned village Žanjevići. We continue alogn the Purple path to even older fort and we return to Beli.

St. Blaž

We depart from hotel Kimen down the old Roman road towards Štarganac where we turn towards St. Blaž. We return by the current marked by road to St. Salvadur and to the hotel Kimen.

Napoleonic trail

We depart from hotel Kimen to the Pišća village (where we describe the living water and the importance of water on the island). We follow the Napoleonic road to Krčina. After that we go for Loznati. From Loznati we head to Antonski (former Cres vineyards) and return to Cres.

Merška cave

We depart from hotel Kimen towards Bartholomew (old church and the beginnings of the old Cres). We descend to Merška cave. After that we go to Merag and then the ferry dock, where we wait for the transportation back to the Hotel.

Valun

We depart from hotel Kimen by aquaduct line to the asphalt road to Valun. We visit the Valun cemetery where Valun tablet was found and ancient Slavic traditions of feasting at the cemetery were discovered. We arrive in Valun. Return by boat or van.

Return by boat is 120 kunas per person including lunch.

Martinšćica - Lubenice

Transportation by bus to Martinšćica. From there we go on foot to Vidović and Lubenice. In Lubenice we descend to the sea where we take the boat back to Cres.

Transportation by boat waiting in Lubenice is 180 kn per person including lunch.

Srem - Plat - Verin - Loze

We leaver the bus on the crossroad of Srem. We go on foot towards the village of Srem, Plato, Verino and Loze. We return to the Podolice where the bus is waiting for us.

Grabrovica - Valun

We take the boat to Grabrovice. we go on foot to Grabrovice, Pernat, Zbičine and Valun. In Valun we take the boat back to Cres..

Transportation by boat is 180 kn per person including lunch.
